MySQL Tests the GPL - Free As In Speech!
MySQL does great work, and they’re using the GPL to provide their Enterprise source code only to paid subscribers of their service. Wait, GPL doesn’t make it free? Take another read. Nothing said you have to distribute the source code free of charge. Of course the unwarranted backlash and jeering abounds.
