Next Stop: Tokyo. ETA: 2 Hours???
It’s about time those 12-hour flights came to an end. With the latest developments in hypersonic scramjet technology, it looks like it’s possible. This isn’t flash-in-the-pan stuff either, it’s been worked on for over 40 years, and despite several false starts, it looks like workable designs are finally getting close.
