Nice Beach… A Long Time Ago
Talk about a nice beach….
Anyone who lives in Costa Rica would be surprised to find out that this is downtown Puntarenas. Yes, that dirty smelly town with a beach you don’t want to swim in was a really nice spot back in the mid 20th century. Back then you could even hop on a train from downtown San Jose to downtown Puntarenas. Apparently it was the popular thing to do:
